Youth Safety Standards
Tri-Town Revival is committed to creating educational environments where young people are respected, supervised, and protected. These website standards summarize the expectations that should be reflected in detailed program procedures and partner agreements.
Adult conduct and supervision
- Use observable and interruptible interactions and avoid isolated one-to-one situations.
- Maintain professional boundaries; no sexual, romantic, degrading, threatening, or exploitative conduct.
- Use approved program spaces, schedules, and communication channels.
- Follow required screening, orientation, and supervision procedures for the assigned role.
Electronic communication
- Program communication with minors should include a parent, guardian, approved group channel, or another authorized adult when practical.
- Adults should not use disappearing messages or secret/private accounts for program communication.
- Do not request sensitive personal information through Discord, text, or social media.
Arrival, departure, and transportation
Programs should use sign-in/sign-out and authorized-pickup procedures appropriate to the location. Transportation must be separately approved and follow driver, permission, vehicle, supervision, and emergency requirements.
Photography and media
Photos, video, names, testimonials, and student work should be used only with the appropriate permission and in a manner that protects participant dignity and privacy.
Animal and reptile programs
Only approved handlers may direct animal interaction. Programs should address participant boundaries, hand sanitation, allergies or health restrictions through an appropriate process, incident response, humane handling, and safe animal containment.
Reporting a concern
Immediate danger should be reported to emergency services. Safety, boundary, bullying, misconduct, or program concerns should be reported promptly to program leadership at info@tritownrevival.org or 410-831-9505. The Foundation should document concerns, protect against retaliation, and follow applicable reporting duties.
